We have booked to stay 4 nights at All Star Movies, 3 at Animal Kingdom Lodge and 7 at PO Riverside. At the time of booking it sounded a great idea but now I am getting worried about how much time this will take meaning less time for rides!!
Is it an easy transfer between hotels? Can we do it all early on a morning meaning we still get a full day in a park?
I don't think I am going to unpack untill our last week at Port Orleans!!

We've done 3 hotels in 3 weeks and 2 hotels in 2 weeks. Moveing between Disney resorts isn't hard. Bell services will move your luggage for you or you can move it yourself and have them hold it until you are ready to check into your room.
You can check in at the resorts any time but your room may not be ready until the official check in time (3pm) so you will be given a number to call for your room details later in the day. You are free to go and enjoy the parks all day if you wish so swapping resorts needn't take up a lot of time.
You have made a great choice of resorts :thumbs-up

I know Disney resorts will transfer your luggage to the next Disney hotel, but not sure about the rooms being ready, Someone might be able to answer better, as i am not sure if the room would be available right away ,or you might have to wait till checkin time, so checkout 11 am room not available till 4pm

We love doing different resorts and the moving around is all part of the fun for us!:thumbs-up
We have never found that it interfered with our plans or ate into our time hence why we are DVC resort hopping this year and doing 7 hotels and a Disney cruise in 32 days.:spin: :spin:
Its not for some people, there are those that like to arrive and stay put. But for us its part of the adventure.:)
We're doing 3 hotels in 9 nights, lol, don't worry it will be worth it, those are some great hotels you're staying at! :d:
We've done this a few times and what I do is pack one suitcase to open first, with enough clothes, underwear etc for those first few days, and also the bathroom stuff as well. That way we only have to open the one suitcase at our first hotel. Then move on to the next hotel and open the 2nd suitcase with the same amount of clothes etc, and make the first suitcase the one with the dirty washing to go home and gifts, shopping etc and keep that locked, and so it goes on until you get to the third hotel and again only have to open one suitcase, apart from using the second one for more things you've bought, lol, I hope that makes sense, lol, that's what we do and it makes it so much easier. :d:

I'm glad you both understood what I meant, lol, as I thought it didn't read too well when I read it back! :pgig:
Another tip is to bag up the underwear for each suitcase, put each person's in a large plastic freezer bag with their name on, it saves loads of time trying to sort out the socks, knickers etc. :d:

We love moving about to a certain extent but I couldn't be as mad as Leanne ;) :pgig:
I think I would get bored staying in the same resort for 2 weeks now, we're doing 4 resorts in 17 nights in August and again in December. We usually check in on our way to a park and enjoy our day before heading back to our room.
Mazzy that's a great idea with the suitcase :thumbs-up As we move hotels we usually fully pack a suitcase with shopping/washing etc.

The idea of staying at more than 1 resort sounds really good.
Are you booking these direct with Disney or via a travel agent?
Thanks

When we go in a couple of weeks we have got 6 hotels in 2 weeks. Only spending first couple of nights in Orlando then heading down to Key West staying at a few places along the way then back to Orlando for last couple of nights. Don't think we will bother unpacking and will live out of the suitcase.
