Is the Titanic expedition still on. We went in 2002 DD wanted to do this we thought it was going to be rubbish but we came out totally amazed. We were told it was closing, but we were wondering if it actually had closed.:D

If you mean the Exhibition on I-Drive, then yes it is still there :D
Scrump is correct
The one on I drive is still there, well it was in March. Having been interested in this subject from an early age, I found this very interesting, there are also two actors who walked you through certain parts with an scripted chat, and some question, but also left you for a while as well, so you could savour the sights and the feel.
In all I think it was value for money and worth a trip but at best it only takes half a day. Wonderworks is near by, (about half a mile) so we did both in one day, which was a nice change from the parks.
a couple of nice touchs of the titanic exhibit, was each ticket has a name printed on it of an actual passenger, and toward the end, is a memorial to all the passengers, and you can look up your name and see what your fate would have been on that night. the second one was in the bridge area there was a block of ice, which was there to resemble the water on that night, your asked to hold your hand on it for as long as you can. I didn't last more than a couple of minutes, and it really struck home what it would have been like to have been in the water on that night!!!
a very good 8/10 (9 if your a titanic fan!)

They had a similar Titanic Exhibition in the Science Museum last year and we thought it was amazing...they had actual artefacts and a piece of the actual hull from the Titanic and it was a very spooky feeling to actually touch it. They also had the ice berg to touch and the boarding passes....I was Lady Astor, which meant that I survived......it also meant I had a very wealthy husband, if only that bit was true to life!!

I went with my niece last September. Tt was very interesting and touching at the same time as you got to find out about real people and what happened to them. My niece was chosen to stand on the grand staircase with a little American boy playing Jack and Rose.
We visited this a couple of years back, it was a must for me, my first cousin Elizabeth Rammel Nye was a passenger onboard the Titanic. (her grandmother is my gg grandmother). She was rescued and went on to live in New York. To see her name on the memorial at the end was fantastic. One of the pieces recovered from the Titanic was a small watering can with the message A gift from Folkestone, I don't know if this was one of Elizabeth's belongings or not but she did come from Folkestone.
I loved every minute of it but cannot imagine for one minute what it must have been like to have been a passenger on the ship.

Where they built it is about 15 minutes walk from where I'm typing this now.
It's all being redeveloped now, to be honest I think the whole shipyard will be closed in 5 years :(
