We are off to DLP (Disneyland Paris) in nineteen days. It is my birthday trip, we couldn't go for my birthday because I had been ill and in hospital. So we are going now to make up for missing out. The last time we were there in October 1998, I was only twelve at the time. We are going for three nights and four days, we were wondering if there were any recommendations from anyone on what rides and things to go on. I can't go on any rollercoaster type rides because of my disability. I like rides like the Winnie the Pooh hunny pots, Peter Pan's Flight. I need a bit of help tryingn to plan what we are going to do as we only have a short space of time out there. As we only have three weeks to plan. I can't wait I'm getting rather excited now.

Why don't you see if you could book a birthday tea with the characters, it is suppose to be quite good. I think it held in the Plaza Gardens Restaurant
You can go on Small world, snow white, pinocio.
Peter pan will be closed while you are there I think. 1/6/04-9/7/04
THere are some shows on while you are there too, only thing is they will probably be in french.
Not forgetting the studio park which mainly consistes of shows, I think animajic show was on english not sure about the others.
I think 4 days will be plenty to see everything you want to just remember its suppose to be fun take things easy and you will enjoy it more than if you have to keep to a strict timetable of events.
Where are you going to be staying?
Any quiestions that I can help you with please ask

you don't say if you use a wheel chair but i'm guessing that you do, so you gotta do the stunt show at walt disney studios no problems with wheelchair access just sit back and enjoy the fast pace and the driving in both french and english. the backlot tour also has specially adapted areas at the front of the "train" it does sway but gently. you may need to check suitablity for that one. all of the shows have access and are such fun whether they are in french or english. don't forget to take your autograph book it's not just for kids and of course the new way to meet new people is with "pin Trading".

I don't use a wheelchair but I get tired easily and we were in florida two years ago now and the pin trading there was fun s I might do it again in Paris. Thanks for the advice though
HI Dawn
I just saw your post! You are going to have a fantastic time - I am very jealous, I would love to stay at the Disneyland hotel, it looks beautiful!
I would recommend the Pirates of the Caribbean ride - it is similiar to the one in Florida, but I think it's loads better in Paris. Also, if you like spooky things, then the Haunted Mansion is very good.
Be sure to check out the parades, they are lovely.
We had dinner at a restuarant in the Disneyland Hotel, (Inventions) which I wouldn't recommend (I know you want recommendations ,but I thought it was worth mentioning as you might think it sounded nice) The characters were really good, although we didn't know who a few of them were, but the food was quite fancy and not really to my taste at all - lots of raw seafood - I think they do a breakfast there which is probably loads of fun.
We did have a lovely meal at Walts on Main Street - I would definitely recommend that - we went for lunch and really enjoyed it, but I think you can go there for breakfast, and I bet it would be really good as there are lots of small rooms so there wouldn't be big crowds around the characters.
I have heard that the Lion King show is coming to Paris, if that is there when you are there, then you really must go and see it - that is my all time favorite show.
i could go on and on - we went to DLP for Katie's 4th birthday and we have a lovely time - we did find it hard to see the characters because people were pushing, but other than that it was brilliant. One of Katie's favorite things was teh Buffalo Bill Wild West show which is in the Disney Village
Oh, one last thign - be sure to get a birthday badge from City Hall - tell them you are celebrating your birthday and they will give you a badge and then people will wish you Happy Birthday all day.
Have a superb trip
Bev

just seen the bit about yhe pirates ride and reminded me. we had a meal there it was expenxive but fantastic. we had the last sitting available and when we came out the park was empty/closed we just walked very slowly using the longest route possible to get out of the park it was truly magical, worth the extra for the food, lots of uninterrupted photo opportunities and we got to wealk through your hotel (WOW! you really are in for a treat) can i come too!
