Can't really help with a choice as we usually hit McDonalds!!
Try this link www.baa.com/main/airports/gatwick/shopping_eating_frame.html & select restaurants & bars from the menu on the left
It has opening times, & a brief run down of what they have tio offer!!

We ate at Wetherspoons, for both breakfast and dinner and couldn't fault it :) They serve just normal pub grub which is all we wanted!

There's a couple of nice restaurants in Le Meridian itself, on the groung floor opposite check-in. Otherwise there's a Pizza Express in the North Terminal, as long as the ovens are working, unlike last time we tried to eat there!

We didn't get to try anywhere except Mc D's for both a evening meal and breakfast.
Garfunkels -thought it was very very good. Had tried Garfunkels about 10 years ago in London and it has changed such a lot. The quality of the food is excellent and keenly priced

There's a Wetherspoons near us and DH likes it.
Must give it a go when we get there.

McD's for breakfast and then straight into the 'Spoons for some drinks, even at 0730 it starts the holiday off well!!!!!! 200 people can't all be wrong!!!!
MCD'S here too, but we are outvoted by the children. (except vege one)!!! Who always votes for a M&S cheese and pasta salad on the way to the airport.

Wetherspoons is great there you can enjoy the pub grub and relax and for breakfast we fully recommend that you eat in the Hotel we have stayed at the Meridian and had breakfast there and it filled us up till we had our meal on the flight.
ps the Hotel breakfast is all you can eat buffet style

Hi, pamandandy, what was the selection and how much was it?Alsowhat is the atmosphere like in there as we're staying their on wednesday night-can't wait!!!
The KFC and Burger King are presently closed, for how long who knows but I think this has to do with all the building work going on up there

That's why DH likes it! And the choice of beer doesn't seem bad from what I recall.

IS KFC at Gatwick Airport now re-opened? We are flying to gatwick next week and the kids love KFC.
