Not at AK but we got upgraded to concierge level at Grand Floridian as it was out wedding. Personally we didn't really use any of the extras it offered (a bit out of our pocket), so I didn't think it would have been worth it if we had had to pay.

JJ we stayed there last month on concierge level with an AP code booked through Dreansunlimited.
A wonderful experience but I am not totaly convinced it was worth the money.
Sunrise Safari was excellent - I think Bob has now posted some pics in the gallery of food offerings, lounge etc.
Any questions then just ask

We had a 5th floor view of Arusha Savannah (lounge is on the 6th floor)
This gave us a great view of the animals as this is the largest savannah I believe.
Rooms were a reasonable size with fridge and balcony with a table and two chairs. The bathroom was surprisingly small, the same size as CBR.
Service was excellent and the fridge was handy to bring drinks down from the lounge, for when you wanted to sit on the balcany and watch the animals.
Nice mints on your pillow in the evening when the beds are turned down.
Very pleased we have stayed at AKL but find Universals on site hotels better value for money.
Not yet but we will be there in Dec for 4 nights, on DVC points. After a short trip around 11 Southern States!

Scar after so much travelling around, I take it you are just going to relax on the balcony with a drink and watch the animals?

Can't quite justify DVC at the moment, oh well there is always a lottery win to change that I guess!! :D

Bob and Dawn.
After 3500 miles I think it will be Room service for Breakfast, Lunch and Tiffin! Then we will be up for anything!
Have stayed Concierge twice at the Poly only but LOVE it!!
With us being a family of 5 the extra $50 charge for concierge was well worth it, free drinks, breakfast, desserts, h'ors douvres (sp?) etc etc. To add on a few nights at the end of your holiday is a real treat to finish off the holiday IMHO!!
