Dates for the 9th Annual ABC Super Soap Weekend, to be held at the Disney-MGM Studios, have finally been announced: November 13-14, 2004. Susan Lucci will again lead the line-up of stars from ABC-TV's daytime dramas.
At the Caribbean Beach Resort, all preferred location and king bedrooms have been designated "nonsmoking."
Disney's Wilderness Lodge celebrated its 10th anniversary on May 28, 2004, with several Native American cultural presentations as part of the festivities.
The two main characters from the Disney Channel series "JoJo's Circus" have been added to the Disney-MGM Studios Stars and Motor Cars parade. JoJo and Goliath will also be available for meet-and-greet opportunities in the Studios beginning this summer.
Once Upon a Toy, the Downtown Disney Marketplace toy shop, is host to a new character meet-and-greet -- the life-size version of the plush "Disney Bear," a furry toy with Mickey Mouse-shaped markings on his face and paws. During this month, Disney Bear will make surprise appearances at the toy store, posing for photographs and greeting shoppers Wednesday through Saturday evenings between 4:30 and 8 p.m.
