Claire we did Fright Night in IoA in October 2001 - it was the best night I've ever had!! DW & both DD's were scared out of their skins!! The Houses were excellent, the shows excellent & the atmosphere was electric! :thumb:

Can't see this year's dates anywhere yet. I would guess, though, that the early closing nights in October are HHN.

Claire I am thinking about this as well!! I am going to pop the little ones in the kiddie club rather than take them as it works out similar to buy them a ticket or pay for child club.

I think its scary but as said above it does get packed out, although Universal as they do sell a book of express passes for the houses etc.

I am trying to find out the dates as well.

When you get into town look for the $10.00 off coupon that is usually on the label of coke bottles (2 litre type) or pop into a Burger King for a discount. These are generally the 2 sponsors that offer a large discount for Horror Nights.

It's a great night!!!

We went last year and it was one of the best nights we had on our hols. The park is brilliantly themed and very spooky and atmospheric. I wouldn't recommend this event for younger children - 10 and under. Our son who was 8 at the time enjoyed every minute, but he is very brave. However, I got scared witless in some of the houses - but then I do scare easily.

The park was busy but manageable and the queues seemed to peak at around 9:00pm. We visited IOA during the day and because we had evening tickets, were allowed to stay in a roped off area in the park when the all of the day guests left at 5:30pm (I think). We had our evening tickets checked and waited for around 40 minutes while they got the park ready. We were then allowed to roam around with virtually no other guests for about an hour - before the evening admission. In that time we managed to visit 3 houses and do a few rides. So I would definitely recommed visiting the park in the day and staying on to beat the rush.

We would love to go back again at Halloween time - its great fun.
