OK, so after months of planning, this is it!

Have a read, have a laugh and when you have
recovered composure, tell me what you think! :D

When planning this list, I have taken into account
opening times, closing times and supposed busy days.

FIRST WEEK
Friday - "day before" check-in
Saturday - 10am flight from Gatwick, land at Sanford, collect car
Sunday – Magic Kingdom, full day. Do "that walk" towards castle up main street as my first all important visual memory of WDW (the start of a tradition?).
Monday - Walmart/D.T.D. and other shopping areas for supplies of clothes & walkie talkies & food shopping. And, check out CBR properly.
Tuesday – Character breakfast booked (p.s.) at Restaurantosaurus & then all day at Animal Kingdom.
Wednesday – Epcot, take advantage of E.E., if tired, go to T.L. as we still plan to go to Epcot again.
Thursday – Free day for shopping/swimming at CBR or whatever.
Friday – Universal Studios

SECOND WEEK
Saturday – Disney MGM
Sunday – I.o.A, if it gets busy – go to U.S.
Monday – Totally relaxing day ... UNTIL ... 6.30pm DTD for DIBB meet :D
Tuesday – A good sleep in and relaxing day.
Wednesday – Magic Kingdom.
Thursday – Another Epcot Day and p.s. booked for Rose & Crown in the evening
Friday – Animal Kingdom

THIRD WEEK
Saturday – Epcot
Sunday – SeaWorld
Monday – Disney MGM
Tuesday – D.C.
Wednesday – Kennedy Space Center
Thursday – Seaworld
Friday – Choose favourite WDW park
Saturday – Fly home (afternoon flight)
Sunday – Morning landing at Gatwick

16/6/04 edited to swap Epcot to beginning of third week and MGM to the beginning of the second week. Put in MGM on Monday of third week instead of a day at SeaWorld. Replaced Seaworld on the last Friday with choosing our favourite WDW park.

Zoe,
Good plan, however, why not move a few Seaworld visits around as the third week appears a bit top heavy in that area.
Apart from that it looks good.....we arrive on the Thursday (late) of your first week...may even plagarise parts of your plan for our 3 week stay!

How about a trip to Clearwater Beach on one of your free days??

I've got to do SeaWorld around the D.C. day, as the ticket comes with the D.C. ticket and (theoretically) has to be done seven days around D.C.

Also, the third week is when we have DH's birthday and DS's birthday and our wedding anniversary. As DH and DS both want waterery/animally things (& DH doesn't want to do anything Disneyish for his birthday) I thought the third week would be nice just to do this sort of thing.

We really liked Seaworld, Zoe, but I think I would struggle to spend 4 days there in one week. I think about 2 days would "do" it pretty comprehensively, although it was pretty quiet when we were there and it might need more time if busier.

Zoe,
Understand tie in with Dc but as Ulsterscot says 4 days in a week may be maxing it out. How about using your 2 outstanding WDW days?
We had a flex ticket last time and did 2 days Seaworld that covered it perfectly.

I might actually do just that - replace a couple of SeaWorld days with whichever WDW park or parks we liked best.

Zoë - it sounds like a great plan - not too busy and some shopping days when you can also chill and take advantage of the CBR pool and facilities.

As above you probably wouldn't do 4 full days at sea world but leave them pencilled in and perhaps you could do one full sea world day. The next day one morning / early afternoon at BB or TL followed by the late afternoon / evening back at sea world doing the things you liked.

Have the last Thursday and Friday for everyone to choose the favourite park / parks (you should have enough Disney and sea world ticket days to meet everyone's requirements)

You seem to have things spaced out well Zoe, but like Sue says what about Clearwater or even St Petes in your final week. I like Sea World but one day usually does it for me. Free up a day or two and even think of doing The Everglades - you wont be sorry!

4 Days in Seaworld would be too much in my opinion, you have only one day at MGM this is my fav park and may need an extra visit.
If your'e DH and DS need a birthday treat try and find out about a basketball game to see Orlando Magic, we took our sons and it really was a great evening of family fun.

Zoe - all looks good to me just the Seaworld days really - even I don't think I could do 4 days there!! How about extra shopping or return to IoA/US or maybe half day visit to Gatorland/Boggy Creek??? Bring a copy with you & we can compare notes on the 10th July :thumb:

The final week definitely needs attention. I have only used up eight days of my ten-day tickets. Four days could easily be too much at SeaWorld and I could easily do several part days there instead of whole ones. Will definitely want at least one whole day there as DH has specified he wants to go there for his birthday (two days after D.C.).

I have an airboat ride to see the aligators as top of my list of "to dos" if we have time. Our anniversary is on the Sunday at the beginning of the third week, so might forfeit Seaworld for that - and still go to SeaWorld in the afternoon?

Have now revised my itinerary to something more sensible for the third week. I won't change Sunday of last week at SeaWorld as we are now down to only two days there and this is a park we are REALLY looking forward to going to. We will endeavour to go there for a bit of time after other things if we are able to.

During July and August I would say that it is pretty much essential to leave the parks in the early afternoon for a break from the heat, humidity and crowds. I find that if I spend all day in a park without a midday break I get really tired in the evening. Are you planning on taking a midday break away from the parks? I only ask because your itinerary seems ti inlude 'full days' at several parks.

We usually change parks during the day. For example, a morning spent at Animal Kingdom, a midday break for a sleep or a swim, then late afternoon and evening at Epcot. This keeps everything nice and interesting as we sometimes feel things get a little 'stale' if we wander around the same park all day.

You've only got one water park visit planned, and that is after you've spent the morning at Epcot. I would say that the best time to visit the water parks are first thing in the morning. Queues for all the slides can get very long from mid-morning onwards, the pools get very busy, and the lazy river is like the M25 in rush hour!

Hope these comments help.

Zoe- personally I would swap the Monday and Tuesday around on your first week. You'll be awake early and we have always found we have the energy to do parks on the first 2 days but then need something quieter- ie shopping by the third day.

Zoe,

Three weeks will fly! I really like the coiuple of days to re-visit favourite WDW Parks at the end. Hope you all are in agreement!!!

I printed off my itinerary onto paper and studied it carefully along with a bit of WDW book reading while waiting for one DS to come out of a private lesson this evening.

It's funny how it looks different on paper than on a computer screen and you see things you didn't spot before!! LOL!

So, while reading it, it hit me for the first time that I have two free days next to each other in the middle of the second week with only one meal commitment. That's followed by three full days at WDW parks. I am actually going to leave it like this because the two free days next to each other will give us a really good rest and the three parks are all parks we have done the previous week and we will not be rushing around them trying to get on every attraction. This should hopefully be a fairly relaxing week.
