On June 14, the California Grill began a new check-in procedure for their dining guests. Guests will now check in at a podium located on the second floor of the Contemporary Resort. A Cast Member will then escort guests with Priority Seating, or those guests wishing to enjoy the California Grill lounge, to an elevator reserved only for California Grill diners.
All flags will be displayed at half-staff through July 4, 2004, in honor of the memory of former president Ronald Reagan, as ordered by proclamation of President Bush.
It's official -- the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights will return this year, from November 24, 2004, through January 2, 2005. More than 5 million lights will illuminate the Disney-MGM Studios' New York Street with displays that will include a giant Mickey Mouse, flying angels and several giant Santa Clauses.
"Dining with a Walt Disney Imagineer" has been extended through July 30, 2004.
In recognition of Black Music History month, Pleasure Island will offer extended fireworks displays on Saturday, June 19.
From June 19 through August 29, American Vybe from the American Adventure pavilion will be performing at the America Gardens Theatre in Epcot. Performances will include a wide selection of favorite American music, including a specially orchestrated a cappella version of "The Star-Spangled Banner."
