Montu. Nice and long with a great view from the top. Also, it seemed like a smooth ride, as did Kraken. Some of the others shake your eyes out of their sockets!
I need the 'none' option. I do them and hate them! I just feel that if I dont, I havent done Orlando. Im going to try and give them a miss this year, but the kids always manage to get me on. ToT -now thats a different matter!

James - you left one option off your list - none!!!!!!

Zoe, I'm not really all that fussed on Coasters either but it seemed a shame not to do them when you are in the Park anyway.
Mrs Ulsterscot battled her way round the shops as she refused point blank to go on them. Give it a go - you'll learn to love them!
Kraken without a doubt :D

Well, if there are any that look wimpishly tame - I might give it a go!! Test Track in Epcot looks like my limit - but I suppose that's not really a roller coaster is it?

Give the flying unicorn a go at IOA surprisingly fast for a kiddie coaster:D
My Nan (82) made me laugh the other day when she said that when we go she ' MIGHT give some of the bigger rollercoasters a miss' lol

Rock N Roller for me, technically it's not a great coaster... I just love the start :)
Jonathan
Surprised no one has gone for the 'Hulk' yet - I love the beginning of that aswell. Great Coaster!
Montu for me too!
Dangling legs
Over 4000ft of track
60mph top speed
3.85 G-force

Hi there
At the ripe old age of 40, it wasn't until last year that I ventured onto RocknRollerCoaster, I absolutely loved it. I've never been on an outdoor coaster (they terrify me), but I think I enjoy RnRc because I can't see the sky or ground around me.
I know I'm a wuss.

I'm not a great fan of Rollercoasters, but I did try all the Disney one's.
Thunder Mountain was by far the most enjoyable for me, because of the theming.
I know most of you want big thrills from the coasters (which is of course their main objective), but IMO with regards to theming, Thunder Mountain is in a league of it's own.
Yours

I have to vote for Gwazi for the sheer bone-shaking good old fashioned thrill value.
Space mountain is my favourite ride at WDW but I would have to put the Kraken as the best pure roller coaster.

Kraken and Montu are the best; they are so smooth :p: - I ride them all but am not so keen on the ones that bang my ears :(

I have to agree Kraken has the edge for me..... but I have to admit I haven't done Hulk though....so maybe I should reserve judgement till I have done it......hmmmmmm

Are there any coasters that don't do total circular loops which take you upside down?

RnR for me, as i'm not a lover of the big coasters, i only do them for Gary & the girls, as they call me a big wuss, so i shut my eyes and hold my breath on the big ones.

Personally, Kraken for me but I would say the Rock 'n' Roller coaster is the best as it was the favourite of ALL of our family. We all went on it and it was my 8yr old Sons first experience of "coasting" which he absolutely adored. BTW does anyone know which Aerosmith track plays while the coaster is in motion???
NONE :( petrified can't even watch. Was petrified on Goofy's rollercoaster
DD's loved Kraken but the youngest thought it was mild!!!!!!!!
She is looking for something bigger and better.
Any suggestions?

Zoe,
Try Goofy's Barnstormer in Toontown in MK - one especially for the kids, it's well themed and we really enjoy it (and no one minds if you're a big kid in Disney!!!)

I went for Rock and Rollercoaster, because of the allround package.
Kraken is the best actual coaster.
Although if the Mummy had been on there .......
Q BTW does anyone know which Aerosmith track plays while the coaster is in motion???
A - I think - and i may be wrong its 'Walk this way???'

Gotta be RnRC. The initial acceleration outdoes any other ride. I also love the Aerosmith rock music blasting in your ears, and singing along to it, to the disgust of my 2DD's

Kraken, closely followed by the Hulk then duelling dragons
James,
The music played on the ride will be one of the following tracks: -
Dude Looks Like a Lady
Walk This Way
Sweet Emotion
Love in an Elevator
I agree with mandymouse. Theyre much better when you cant see the floor! You dont know how far of the ground you are or how fast your falling. I have done kraken with pete the disney nut, once you get over the hell of plummeting towards the floor, its great.
I have attached Stu's pictures of Kraken below incase there is somebody who hasn't seen them. :D
Hope you don't mind Stu, they bring back brilliant memories. :jump: I can't wait, only 10 more days. :jump:

Mine has to be Montu...it's the coolest ride ever. Especially if you get the chance to ride it at night at summer nights or halloween!
Kraken and Hulk are a close second though!
