I dont know if you can purchase them online or not. They are readily available at the gates and inside the Universal parks.
They do sell out early on at the busiiest times tho, and i believe you can prepurchase them over there too.
Hope this helps.

From previous threads I believe they can only be bought at the gate on the day they are to be used and that it is not always available. The other alternative is to book into a Universal hotel for one night for unlimited Universal Express ie Front Of The Line priviledges on both checkin and checkout day.

Will be making full use of these at IoA & US. We're staying near to US so will pop in & ask if they can be prepurchased or not! :thumb:

UNIVERSAL EXPRESS
At Universal Orlando, the Universal Express program means that everyone who comes through the gates at Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure theme parks will have quick, easy access to virtually all the destination's most popular rides and attractions.
The program offers a whole new way for guests and their families to enjoy theme parks. Regardless of the type of ticket they hold, guests using the Universal Express program will be whisked onto rides and attractions all day long, every day of the year. That means there is no need to wait in a long line before enjoying such blockbuster attractions as the Incredible Hulk Coaster at Islands of Adventure or Men in Black Alien Attack at Universal Studios.
As part of the Universal Express system, resort guests - those people staying at on-site Universal hotels - have unprecedented, all-day express ride access to virtually all rides and attractions simply by showing their hotel room key. That program is available for guests staying at the Portofino Bay Hotel, the Hard Rock Hotel and the Royal Pacific Resort.
The program works this way:
Universal Orlando on-site hotel guests continue to get preferred access to virtually every ride and attraction and Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure simply by showing their hotel room key at each ride.
Theme park ticket holders can choose one of two possible windows of times for a single ride or attraction, and receive an Express Pass to experience that ride or attraction by presenting their ticket at any Universal Express distribution center located throughout both Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure. They simply show their Express Pass at each attraction for express ride access. They can get another Express Pass after visiting the attraction, after the chosen window of time has passed, or after two hours have passed.

Thankyou for all the info, I have just been looking at www.floridaonline and they seem to be selling their tickets with the price including the express pass system. Does anyone know of a catch here?

Are you looking at www.onlineflorida.co.uk ?
If you are, you may have misread it.
Is this what is says?
The standard 2 Day ticket offers two days of unlimited admission to Universal Studios® and Islands of Adventure®, unlimited park-to-park access and access to the Universal Express ride which allows you to bypass the regular queues and ride without waiting! Additionally, there are no night time cover charges at any of the live entertainment venues of Universal CityWalk® for seven consecutive nights.
I thiink the part where it says access to the Universal Express ride, it may just mean you can obtain one of the Express tickets from the ticket machines in the park.

The Express Pass system is available for ALL park guests free of charge - it's Universals equivalent of Disney's FastPass. The Express Plus option is available for an additional cost! Kimber post sums it all up nicely!!
