Hi
I recently found out that the company that DH works for has bought 2 places in Orlando!! Bargain price of £99 a week - any time of year!!!
Soooooo - I am keen to take up this offer. it is not guaranteed as it is like a vote - you send in the form to say what dates you can travel - they have to be in by end of october and then in november they let you know if you are succesfull... so it is not guaranteed but if you didnt apply last year which was the 1st year you get priority in this years allocation!!

but I cant decide which one would be better for us -
the Cane island one looks nice - and is near krispy creme!( I read that on here!!) it is a 3 bed appartment. the sandy ridge villa is 4 bed I think - but I think it is a bit further out? has own pool etc
we are a family of 5, 2 adults, 3 children ( older ones will be 10 and 9) and a baby who will be a toddler -about 18 months when we go!

I know lots of people have been to these places - which one is nearer to WDW, safe location etc

thanks

Jo

Depends how many of you are going.

There are only 3 of us and we stayed at Cane Island (2 bed condo) last Easter and Sandy Ridge (4 bed villa) this Easter.

We decided that we prefer a condo on a high floor with a community pool if only the 3 of us, but would be happy with a villa if we went with family.

Sandy Ridge is an easier drive (not sure if it is closer) to Disney as Cane Island is on the 192, but I was happy with either location. Cane Island is also within walking distance of some restaurants whereas Sandy Ridge is a drive to everything.

Reading between the lines I think my dad works for the same company ;);)

We have stayed at both and prefer the location of Cane Island - a 1 min walk to Krispy Creme!!!!

Villa lovely but a further drive to any where.

Cane Island is also newer.

I would stay at both again - have put a request in for August and New Year!!
