Could anyone tell me the best places to buy clothes? I have a really hard time buying in the Uk and am hoping florida may bring me some luck.
I'm only a uk size 6 some time a size 8 depending on where I shop, but as I'm 5'5 petite sections are no good.

Old Navy is a great shop, it is like a cheap Gap, and sizes range from the very small to the very large.

Great for T-Shirts, Shorts, Jeans, Hoodies, Vest Tops etc

I don't think you'll have a problem out there. I've seen size 0 in the States which is our size 4 !!
You'll probably get some great bargains as a lot of the clothes left at the outlet malls are the smaller sizes.
Banana Republic do a lot of small sizes-part of the Gap chain but smarter more tailored clothes.

Banana Republic also do their trousers in short, regular and long so no problem with length either.

We looked in Abercrombie & Fitch, the clothes were really nice in there and we noticed small sizes.

They seemed to be tight fitted and long (if that makes sense). Think you should be fine in there.

How great to find somebody with the same problem as me. I am also a size 6, 8 if a small fit and am 5'5". I am so sick of buying clothes and hating them when I try them on again at home because they don't look right.
The only shop I have found that sell size 6 is Top Shop and the selection is very limited. The only time I shop at the market is for jeans as I find that the cheaper jeans are often smaller.
It looks like I'm going to be doing more shopping than I planned when we go on holiday. PLUS I don''t know about you but I can eat for England and not put an ounce on so bring on all that lovely food!:D :D

It could be worth you looking at the companies mentioned own websites. I registered with Old Navy & I often recieve emails from them and last year it worked out that I was going a few days after they sent a 10% discount coupon by email. Looking at there websites could give you a good idea if the store will be good for you.

I can eat for England never gain weight not a good thing. Will check out the stores mentioned thankyou.
Dizzy hiya and great to know I'm not the only one who finds clothes shopping hard. Jane Norman sells some great stuff and sizes are small but not cheap for every day wear. Top shop is ok but being 37 sometimes a bit on the teenage side.

Hi Shaz,
Looks like I might have to take a trip to Coventry to do some clothes shopping as I dont know of a Jane Norman in Sheffield. I might have a look and see if I can find branch addresses around the country.

There is one advantage though, like I said we can eat all this lovely food on holiday and not have to worry about a diet when we get back.
