I found the hotel in general to better than okay but if you are not driving the shuttle left a lot to be desired, one night when we had been to Magic Kingdom and were waiting for the shuttle it had still not arrived at midnight and that was an hour late!! Someone called and was informed that it was there on time and nobody was there, 42 people were wrong!!!! The hotel was very apologetic as the company are only contacted to them and this is under review shortly(onluy good this about the carribean island buses is the elvis lookalike)
We eventually started taking taxes and the hotel ones were the most reasonable (Alex is the good driver he didnt rip us off) but all in all I would estimate that I was probably $400 in taxi fares that I wasnt expecting i.e la quinta - belz $32 one way but as I found the same price gets you to Florida Mall and all the stores in the mall have got sales on which I found to be a lot cheaper than the outlets. I got genuine Von Dutch Jeans in Gadzooks for #30 andT-Shirts for $14 better than any of the outlets. I got Nike trainers for $10 in the mall in the outlet they were $35 (which is still a good price I suppose) When we first arrived I had not got a room near the pool as requested but this was soon rectified thanks to the good staff and got room 171 (which is ground floor next to swimming pool and right next to the crazy golf and all amenities, good room) the only thing the pool area did not seem to be cleaned as much as i expected. The Kids club was not promoted very well but my DS on the 3 times he went he loved it, Mary who takes it is really nice but she has just gone in to get her knees replaced (ouch) so dont know who will now. If I can help in anyway pls let me know! All in all we did enjoy it. Do not go to the dead sorry red lobster across the road, ponderrosa was fantastic!
