building works - Holiday Inn Family Suites

Has anybody visited Holiday Inn Family Suites since they started renovations to turn them into a Nick hotel?
If so, do the works impact upon the holiday experience, or is there any works completed which would be of benefit to us?

We stayed there when it first opened and loved it, just got back from WDW stayed at the Orlando world center opposite family suites, there is building work going on but very little and it looks like it is only in one area at a time. We were going to stop there and i emailed them direct and was told you would not really notice any building work, and that pool areas were fine and during the summer months only minimum amount of work would be carried out. I think some of the new rooms are now ready but the main entrance which appears on the website is now under construction. Hope that helps a bit have a great holiday
