We are going to visit Disney for a daytrip during a Paris visit. Don't know whether to go for the 1 or 2 park ticket given the timescale. Is the 2nd park worth it? Thanks

I would say yes for

Rock n rollercoaster
Tower of Terror
Crush's Coaster
Backlot tour

What time of year are you going and have you been before? If the park hours are quite short, then I would just do the Disneyland Park, so that you can see lots there, especially if you have not been before. :)

I would stick to 1 park if you're only there for the day - there's more than enough in either park to keep you fully occupied!:)

Have you been to DLP before?

We did a day trip for my birthday last year and opted for the 2 park ticket as Ive been loads of times before and knew the exact rides I wanted to go (plus ToT had opened since my previous visit and I just had to ride it :d:)

Luckily my birthday was on a Tuesday so we managed all the rides I wanted plus a few extra :thumbs-up but if you plan to visit on the weekend just be prepared for the extra volume of people.

With careful planning and a good knowledge of the both park layouts you can do both - granted just a whistle stop tour but it is possible :spin:

Thanks for the replies. We are going in September and intend to go on a Monday. I have never been before so don't know the layout. What would you say was the best park?

if you havent been then it has to be the main park. You would easily spend the whole day there on your first visit. Dont try to squeeze in a 2nd park or you will end up rushing and missing things.

Do one park and take it easy and enjoy.

MGM is a lot smaller and not the one to choose for a first visit.

I would concentrate on the Disneyland Park in that case, try and get there as early as possible and make full use of the fastpass system. Def FP Big Thunder Mountain and go and ride Haunted Mansion and maybe even Indiana Jones. Round to Pirates but get a FP for Peter Pan before (its just pass Pirates in Fantasyland). Dumbo usually has a large queue as does Pinnochio. In Discoveryland I would FP Space Mountain or Buzz, depending on the queue and return time.

Def check out the park layout before you go

Have a fab time :d:

Def just focus of the main park. A Monday should be pretty quiet but its big enough to entertain you def for a day. Have fun!

Yep one park is best. Make it Disneyland. The Studios Park is great but for a first time stick to Disneyland.
