Mmmmmmm,Methinks you are in some sort of planning mode,Mr Jones.

Have noticed the odd question slipped in here and there just recently.

Are Heather and the kids included in the plans.........by any remote chance:D :D :D

Yes - just check this years trip reports for info and pics.

We've never stayed in a "value" resort before and didn't know what it'd be like but it was GREAT!

Great theming, bright, clean and would thoroughly recommend it.

(pretending to ignore any remarks about planning or kids etc!;) )....

... I've re-read some of the post about PC since posting, including Alison and Shaun's trippie, .... I just wonder whether the location feels "on-site" enough when compared to, say, Swan, Dolphin, Y&B etc....?

Anyone know how cheaply we could do this during a half term holiday? ............... (who's in planning mode?!!)

We've stayed at All Star Music twice and will be returning in Nov.
I love staying in WDW resorts and find the theming is just as 'Disney' in the value resorts as it is elsewhere on site.
We visited Pop Century on our last visit and it looked great fun
:jump: If we had children with us, then we'd stay there in a heartbeat.
As it's just the two of us, we find ASMu a bit more adult friendly (but only a bit! LOL)

here are some great pictures of pop century
we are staying there in december and it looks really good and it will only be a year old too!

The hotel blocks are really bright and colourful and i have read that from some rooms you can see the fireworks!
we couldnt afford a moderate hotel and i really wanted to stay in a disney hotel.

..had a good read now, Jo, and it does look interesting.... good to read that they don't put large groups (cheerleaders etc) there as they do at the other budget resorts... thinking of a shortish break, perhaps a week or so on site and then a couple of days at universal.... not sure I could do a fortnight in hotels with my two!:D

Thanks!

Mike
