Ice cream social

Can anyone tell me if you can get chocolate icecream at the Icecream social? I really want to do this one but DS claims that he only likes chocolate icecream and won't touch vanilla:confused2

if you have a look on the gallery there are some photos of ice cream social ice creams! if you look under epcot - i am sure you will find them - they look delicious!!!

Ice Cream Social is a must...can you not tell DS that Disney choc ice cream is the same colour as vanilla!! Cannot remember if there was a choice though...I was too engrossed in mine!!

We never got offered a choice, it was just (very very nice) vanilla. I guess this doesn't neccessarily mean that they don't do other flavours though.

I have read that they are all pre made in the freezer so I don't suppose there is a choice of flavours.

I can't believe the amount of useless info I have picked up on the boards!!

I have also read that you can't have a re hitching ceremony at the ice cream social anymore.

Has anyone been recently?

Thanks guys, have shown DS (10) your replies and the piccies, he was not impressed with your suggestion Anne:D :D :D and has therefore reluctantly (LOL) decided that he thinks he could manage a vanilla iecream as they have got chocolate sauce:rolleyes: He says he must have an adult one though:D

We got back from WDW yesterday and the Icecream Social goes down as my favourite dining with characters experience, you get lots of time with the characters and they interact with the children brilliantly a real must.

Was gutted I didn't get to do this this year,booked in January for the afternoon they closed the parks early for Hurricane charley!

As ive recently lost my job may never get to go back and do it,
what a bummer.

I don't suppose any one knows if there is any chance they will be having the Ice Cream Social anywhere else for those 3 months is there? It was the one character meal we all wanted to do and we leave on 31st March.

I was told that they were not doing the Ice Cream Social until they reopened in April :( :( :(

Was really upset as this was one of the things all my children love to do, but im sure i will be able to find something for them to do ;)
