Discovery Cove Dolphins Names [Archive]

You will all think me totally off my trolley but it's like one of those niggles at the back of your mind.
We have been to Discovery Cove a few times now and we were trying to remember the names of the dolphins we swam with. We remembered the big guy Capricorn, also Diego an either TJ or CJ. Can anyone remember any others.
It's like one of those songs you can't think of the name and you find your brains constantly turning over till you get it.
I apologise if I'm in the wrong forum but sure someone will move me around if wrong.

Ours was CJ which we thought was really funny seeing as we are Clare and Jim!!! I guess we will always remember it now!

Ours was Tyler, but because he was a bit young and frisky and I am a little timid in the water, they brought out Capricorn for me. :D

Thanks for that folks. Thanks to you lot we have the names. We have been six times and managed to get a different one each time. First was Capricorn and later CJ. Following year we got Rascal and Dixie. Year after we got Roxy and Diego. Have booked for this year so we will see who we get this time.

We had the "snogging" experiences with Oscar and swimming with C.J.

CJ was an interesting dolphin because he is a cross between two types of dolphin and is darker than most of the others.

Yes, he was rather frisky, Paula, he took my DD aged 7 underwater for her swim!!! She thought it was absolutely brilliant but the trainers were having kittens when both DD and Tyler disappeared beneath the surface!!!

We've met Capricorn, the famous film star :D , CJ, Jenny, Hutch, Lester, Roxy, Ripley, Hayley, Astra and Neo. I also remember them telling us about Goofy, the big momma who is the boss! Which is as it should be, isn't that right ladies :wink

My DD's think our dolphin was called "Naya". It means dolphin in Hawaii. She was two and a half years old.

We had Rascal aged 5 in 2002:grin:
The year earlier we had the much older and much larger Capricorn - what a contrast:D

We swam with Thelma on October 5th 2005....she was so lovely I swear she was smiling at us!

We had Lester the first year, then Diego and then Capricorn! Think Diego was my fave, he kept splashing the trainers without being told to... :d:
