Hi and welcome to the Dibb.
We've not been to DQ as my DD's weren't interested in it, but this thread should help here (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&forumid=68&threadid=34365)

We loved it there (hubbie 2 sons6&14 and me), we went there about 5 times, we would love to go back but this time we are not doing disney , and the day pass is quite expensive.

All the rides are interactive, My eldest loves it!!
Some very good activities for them to join in on as well.
Multi Level complex, if you hate lifts, beware!!
Loads of stairs if lifts are not for you.
Ideal on wet days, but not an all day place for grown ups!!

I have always suggested to people that if they are unsure about D.Q., try going for a couple of hours in the evening after you have been to another Disney Park. Depending on your type of Disney ticket, you shouldn't be charged for visiting D.Q. if you have already been to another Disney park earlier in the day. If you really like it, you can return another day.
Most of our Disney park days were split into two. We'd arrive early to one Disney park and stay until lunchtime, go back to our hotel for a swim and would be totally refreshed for another "attack" at another park. This way we visited all the Disney parks several times.

Basically it is a building in DTD that has about 4-5 floors of interactive/video games and other hands on fun things to do...........its worth going just for the ride in the elevator.
You can design your own roller coaster and ride it in a simulator, take part in drawing disney charaters on a computer etc.
There is also a great coffee bar and cheese cake factory for snacks and a good coffee and you can use the e-mail for free.
We stayed at ASM and had an unlimited pass for 3 weeks. We used DQ about 10 times, every time we went to DTD we left the kids for a few hours to play the games and we either went shopping in the DTD shops or had a coffee. If you do go please try the carot cake, split one between two its huge............. and I love cake.
It does get very busy in the evenings with local kids.
If yopu have an unlimited pass its great but I don't know if I would use a days Disney pass to vist it. But you must visit DTD even if you don't go to DQ.
