View Full Version : Possessions at Discovery Cove
Well, we're all booked for Discovery Cove ready for our November trip. I just have a quick query - as there are just the two of us, do they have lockers where you can leave your valuables if we want to go off and explore?
Also, we have just had a letter of confirmation - is this it or should we get tickets nearer the time (nothing beats the feeling of having some tickets in your hot little hand!):D

Yes - they have (free) lockers, that have a self select PIN number to lock and open them. Get there early - there are enough lockers, but some are located better than others.
Regarding tickets, the letter is all you'll get. Just take the letter and some ID with you, and they will let you in!
Have a great time - it was our best day in Florida for sure.

They have lockers which you put all your things into. You type a code into the keypad.
You don't get tickets for DC as they issue you with your ID badge when you are there. This is also your entry pass into Seaworld/Busch, depending on which option you have taken when you booked. All you need to take with you is your confirmation letter and some form of ID. We used our passports.
If you want to visit Seaworld before DC just take your confirmation along with you to Seaworld.
Hope you have as fantastic a timethere as we did :D

I appreciate that the adults will need to take our passports as ID but what about the children, will they believe us that they are our little angels or will we need to take all five passports.
Thanks

They need photo ID and they were happy with a photocopy I had made of the photo page of my passport (which I laminated), and only asked for mine (was booked in my name). I thought we had a key for our locker, suppose it might depend which locker area you go to.

Phew ... thought I was going mad ... some of the lockers have keys (we were in the North Area) ...
As far as ID ... the kids dont need them ... and to be honest they only checked mine and DW .. the others were ignored.

Went there last week (ahead of Francis!) and it's fantastic - you will have a great time.
From the time you arrive you know that you are somewhere special - you are greeted at the door with drinks (coffee/juice) and shown where to check in. They call you over and ask your name - didn't even need the booking confimation - just one adult passport required. We had a digital combination on the locker that you just punch in each time to get in to it.
The dolphin swim is great but the rest of the day is just as good - great lunch - salmon/burgers/chicken - various options - also pasta salads & side salads and delicious desserts like cheesecake/chocolate fudge cake etc.
We fed the rays in the ray pool - snorkled in the big tropical fish lake just as they were feeding the fish - WOW! they went mad!!!
Then you get into the "lazy river which is about 20 degrees hotter (lovely) and swim through a waterfall into the avairy where you are given little pots of food and the tropical birds come and sit on your hands and eat.......
Oh how I wish I were back there now!!!!!
i want to go back to DC. just reading any threads about it makes me want more.............
