hi everyone

i'm new to all of this so i am sorry if i make any mistakes!!

Can anyone tell me what the new part of universal is like? its been 10 yrs since we have been so i bet its changed a lot. any handy tips when taking an 8yr old and a 7yr old would be helpful,

your children will love it

Hello Andy,

If you go on Universal Studios website it will give you all the lowdown on all the rides. I went last year and there are some new ones since then that I haven't seen yet. If it's been 10 years since you last went then you're in for a treat.

Spiderman in IOA is a must. Terminator 3D in US is good also, and they also have Shrek 4D now. One of the newest rides is Revenge of the Mummy. But if you look on universal's own site, they give a little video tour of each attraction.

10yrs is a long time! is hitchcock still there (i thought it was brilliant but my other half was scared of the birds hehe)?

Nope - Hitchcock has been replaced by the Shrek 4d ride.

For kids the ages yours are I would thoroughly recommend both parks.

WELL REALLY!!! :nonono: Just kiddin'. :wink IOA is the best park in Florida for sheer volume of thrill rides. I LOVE Duelling Dragons, the Hulk and DD's Fear Fall. Spiderman is a must too. Plenty of atmosphere but no Disney magic - there's only one place to find that!!! :D

No backlash from me either. For fun, USF/IOA have it all over Disney. For nostalgia, that's a different matter.
