What would be the US equivelant to our double bed size?
I would love to buy an opulent bed set but am unsure of the size to buy.....seen loads on Targets website......got to have one!
Can anyone help?

"Confusingly, what the Americans call king size we call super king,
and their queen size is our king size. Their double is the same as ours, but you won't find too many of them. A twin is two 3' 6" single beds. "

They often call the set " Full Size" which is roughly the equivalent of our double bed size - at least that's what we have always bought, and it fits!

Right, bed sizes here are 90cm wide for a single, 135 cm wide for a double and 150 cm wide for a 5ft. I don't know what the measurements for the width of beds are over there but if you measure any bed sheets etc. I would just about double the above measurements so you have enough to tuck in or for duvet covers enouth to hang over the edge of the bed.

Oh sorry if you want imperial sizes then a single is 3', double is 4'6" and a kingsize if 5'.

I *think*
twin = single
full = double
queen = king
king = super king
