There are pros and cons to golf clubs
1, they are cheaper in the US
2, they are not made to fit in a suitcase
Anyone any advice on how to get one home, canthey be carried onboard???
Thanks

My husband brought one back for his father a few years ago and the store we purchased it at boxed it up ready for travel and we just checked it in.

I have witnessed a friend get stitched up for the duty on two new golf clubs by Customs. They were obviously new. In hindsight, having them concealed within a set of golf clubs might be better. Or buy a whole new set :wink

I must admit that my husband, on another trip, bought a full set of clubs, woods and new bag at the beginning of our trip and used them whilst we were there.

Customs will still know that they were bought over there unless you can prove otherwise.
In answer to the original question golf clubs have to be checked in as hold lugagge.
