WE stayed there on our last two trips - it must have been ok or we wouldn't have gone back the seecond time!!!!! :wink :D
Seriously - it's a fairly basic but was always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The rooms are big enough for two people - with either a king size (roughly the size of a small playing field!!!!!!) or two double beds. Didn't try the pools (too busy in the parks!) but they seemed popular and very clean. There's a restaurant and a bar on site - as well as a small gift shop. The food at the restaurant was nothing to write home about, but good enough if you didn't feel like going out to find something!. The hotel is close to the I4 and i've read other people saying it can be noisy, but I can honestly say we never noticed - and we had rooms facing the freeway on both occasions - you could always requesto ne facing the car park but the view isn't as good - facing the freeway there's landscaped gardens etc including a small lake - very pretty!
Location-wise I'd say it's excellent! You're just a couple of blocks away from the Crossroads shopping centre with a Goodings supermarket (quite dear but fine for a few essentials!) several good restaurants and a Pirates Cove Minigolf. Also the Crossroads is directly opposite one of the entrances to Disney - and this road goes straight to DTD! Going to Universal is lso a doddle as you're either very close to the I4 junction or you can head right out of the road the comfort inn is in (Palm Parkway) - and get to Universal via the back route (which is what we did)
Since we went, they've also linked Palm Parkway with the bottom end of International Dive which should be handy for Sea World!
So all in all, I really liked the Comfort Inn - not the most glamorous hotel - but I would stay there again! In fact the only reason we're not is that we thought we'd prefer more room as we've got a 4 year old DD now!!!!!!
Don't worry, I'm sure you'll find it great!!!!!!!! :jump: :D

We stayed there in October2002, a family suite.
Clean and basic. We found the restaurant okay for breakfast (good choices), but the evening meal very poor.
Very handy for all the parks. turn right out of the hotel up to turkey lake road (quiet road) and your at universal (several miles). turn left out of the hotel then left again your at the entrance to Disney near Downtown entrance.
Use the Central florida turnpike for Seaworld
Friends of our stayed there in may this year and said the hotel was a building site in places...near there room. Hope they`re finished when you get there.
Watch out for they gator in the lake.
We found the best way to get there was go along the 192 then up the sr535 (Vineland Rd) when you see the turning for downtown disney get ready to use the slip road for palm park way, on your right , its only a small sign.
It was our first trip to Orlando at the comfort in, so hope you enjoy it as much as we did
Ps Say hello to Mary for us, she`s an elderly lady who serves in the restaraunt

We've stayed there twice and found it fine, the accommodation is basic but we found it clean and comfortable and it's in a good location close to WDW and Crossroads. I think you will like it.
I've stayed there a couple of times ages ago and found the location very handy. A good choice of resturants nearby and Goodings- may be not the most economical supermarket but why not your on your holidays!!
I'm sure you'll have a great time.

We have stayed there two or three times over the years, and I think its really good for the money. Never had any problems there. We were going to stay here again next year, before deciding to splash out on an onsite.
We didnt eat at the restaurant as there are lots of others very close. Your also a quick taxi ride from DTD.
We also saw the gator :)

I would request to be away from the I4, I believe some of the rooms in Building 1 have views towards Epcot, maybe you could ask for one of those? To be honest, with the walkway in front of your window, you can't really sit out and enjoy the view anyway.
