Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is sold out for both October 29 and 31.

Beginning this Sunday, October 24, the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Restaurant Akershus in Epcot will have seatings until 11:40 a.m. daily. Subsequently, Restaurant Akershus will no longer serve lunch. The restaurant will continue to offer a family-style dinner daily.

Hurricane Heroes Honored by Disney with Ticket and Room Offers -- From October 14 through December 20, 2004, the Walt Disney WorldŽ Resort is reaching out to the men and women who helped bring relief and aid to Central Florida residents and tourists impacted by three major hurricanes hitting the region this season.

Actress Eartha Kitt has been named as the speaker for the Candlelight Processional for December 14-16.

Ron Schneider, Walt Disney World's ORIGINAL stroll-around Dreamfinder character, will be the guest speaker at the NFFC World Chapter meeting Saturday, October 23, 2004, at 6 p.m. In addition to the former "Journey into Imagination" character, there will be door prizes, raffles, an auction, pin trading, and refreshments. Admission to the meeting is free to NFFC members in good standing. Non-members (guests welcome) will be charged $5.00. Those attending should bring a potluck meal, enough to serve 8-10 people. The meeting will be held at the Vista Del Lago Clubhouse, five miles west of I-4 on 192 West. Tell the Guard at the Gate that you are there for the meeting. Several special events to be held during the ABC Super Soap Weekend at the Disney-MGM Studios this November 13-14, have been announced:
--Susan Lucci, who has played Erica Kane on "All My Children" for 35 years, will be honored in a special ceremony on the main stage. Her handprints will be immortalized in cement in a theme park tradition that pays homage to gala Hollywood ceremonies.

-- Walt Willey of "All My Children" will host the "Super Soap Special Edition" of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire-Play It!"

--The camera crew of "All My Children" will tape segments for a future episode of the soap, featuring both "All My Children" actors and fans.

Another new exhibit is soon to open in Epcot's Innoventions. "Fantastic Plastic Works" is a 5,000-square-foot exhibit, sponsored by Plastics Industry, Inc. The exhibit has three areas that show how plastics enhance our lives every day -- from basic plastic bottles and bags to medical breakthroughs. One interactive area allows guests to create various types of plastics and learn their everyday use.
