Hi everyone

I'm looking to book for February 2005 and have been offered accommodation in either Staybridge suites LBV or Buena Vista suites. Has anyone stayed in either of these hotels recently and what do you think of them? I have 2 small children aged 7 & 5 and it will be their first trip to Florida. Any help is appreciated.

We stayed in the Caribe Royal which is right next door to the Buena Vista Suites. They looked OK but the pool didn't seem to be up to much.

If the Staybridge Suites look OK I'd choose them over the Buena Vista Suites but perhaps someone who, have stayed in one or the other might offer some better help

Staybridge are fairly central and just across from Mercado. I spoke to someone who stayed there in September, who said that there was a lot of refurb going on and at the time it was quite noisy. She said they were OK, but I cant fill you in any further - sorry.

Hi, I haven't stayed in either of those suites, but I have stayed next door to the staybridge suites in Lake buena vista, which until recently used to be called the summerfield suites.

In my opinion the Staybridge suites would be the better option, a better location for shops and restaurants, with in walking distance. - close to the crossroads shopping area and only one mile from downtown disney.

Take a look at the location of the summerfield suites on this map, scroll down and the suites are on the right.

If you scroll right to the bottom of the map and click on 'south towards world drive 536' scroll down and on the right it shows you the directiion for the buena vista suites. Still a good location.

p.s. Margaret, I think you must be thinking of the staybridge suites on International Drive, not the suites in Lake Buena Vista.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll go for Staybridge Suites if that works out to be the better deal.
