Living with the Land and the Circle of Life will be closed for refurbishment January 2, 2005, through March 31, 2005. The Land pavilion will undergo theming changes in anticipation of the opening of Soarin'.

Reminder: The Country Bear Jamboree will be closed November 15-20, 2004, for its annual changeover to the holiday show.

2005 Flower Power Concerts! Pollstar.com is already reporting that the following musical groups will perform at Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival in 2005:
Davy Jones - April 15-18
Gary U.S. Bonds - April 19-21
Paul Revere and the Raiders - April 22-25
The Buckinghams - April 26-28
The Grass Roots - April 29-May 1

As of December 1, you'll no longer be able to rent Pal Mickey. The plush toy has proven so popular as an outright purchase that the rental program is being discontinued. Never fear -- you'll still be able to buy Pal Mickey for $60 (that's $56.33 plus tax; price subject to change) throughout the resort and, coming in May 2005, a "Happiest Celebration on Earth Special Edition" Pal Mickey will be introduced. In addition, a Pal Mickey costume line will debut in the summer.

It is going to be themed to an airport terminal according to gossip at the park. It does need updating as it looks so dated. If the do retheme it I am not sure how the 2 existing attractions fit in but the food fair is like the airport food service already. I hope the Circle of life film stays it brings a tear to my eye the damage we have do to the earth. The living with the land will be the next thing to go I would imagine or undergo a huge update.
