Yes this is a very good airboat ride as My Dad and friends went on one of these rides in August at boggy creek and managed to see alligators, which are usually found on the majority of rides.
Plus you can always find a coupon for discounts in many of the coupon booklets offered in malls and restaurants.
I enjoyed this airboat ride, especially because we saw gators and their young the first time we went on one, but we were very lucky to be able to get close to the mother and her young.
Hope this helps!
We always go to the one at East Lake Fish Camp at Boggy Creek and we`ve seen alligators, birds, butterflies and even bald eagles!! It is a brilliant experience and you will really enjoy it. :-)
Fiona.
Do you know if they get busier over the weekends? Looking for something to do to avoid the parks during Memorial weekend in May. Always promised myself an airboat ride, and my kids will love it.
I don't think it is too busy at the weekends. The boats run regularly all day every day so I'm sure they'll fit you in at some point.

I have just received an email back from the people at boggy creek airboats and they seem really nice, nothing too much trouble to assist my DS who has special needs. We will be doing this on our next trip for sure.
ps lovely video on their site, link at top of this thread

We did an airboat ride at Boggy Creek in September.
Unfortunately, due to the hurricanes there was no wildlife around. Apparently all the gators had been washed away. :(
But I would recommend it, it was great.
