OK, this is gonna be a hard one ...... maybe !
In 2000 we went on a Virgin excursion which included a high speed boat ride on river and open wetlands and a slow jaunt through swampland and forrested areas. We also saw plenty of wildlife and there was an oppertunity for a swim in the deep crystal clear water which came to an end when I saw a croc (or alligator) sunning himself on the bank. We were told that it was the location where Tarzan was filmed and that was why there were so many resis monkeys, one of which even came onto the boat. There were no Manatees, but that could have been the time of year.
I would love to do this again, just for the swim ..... so if anyone has any ideas or maybe knows of a similar trip we would very much appreciate your help
