Don't seem to be having much luck here.....all the uk sites only sem to sell the flex tickets or 2 day tickets....and we are really limited to time and won't be able to do both universal parks this time. I have got a price for $59 off the universal site, but the shipping is $19, so it might be an option to get them when we get there. What do you think?

I was under the impression though you could get an e ticket type thingy you print of yourself from the universal site though, or am i thinking of sea world

You can buy a one day ticket here (https://tickets.universalstudios.com/USRG/us_store_secure2.jsp?merchant=UO) at Universal Studios official website. It will cost you nothing extra if you pay for it using a credit card and collect the ticket from the special machine using the card you used to pay for it. The prices are Adult $59.75 and Child $48.00. This is obviously where you got your original quote from. If you get your tickets by this method, it might be easier than queueing up at the ticket office.

I agree because depending on the season you go in the ticket booths do get very crowded very early, so if you were going to purchase them at the theme park itself i would recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the park opening time. earlier if possible, especially if you want to make the most out of your day as many of the rides can be done within the first 2 hours of the parks opening.
