Breakfast - which is best?

Hi everyone

Do most places in Disney serve cereals for breakfast...or would you recommend getting something before we hit the parks?

We're staying at the Howard Johnson Plaza, and I think they have a breakfast buffet, so I'm assuming they'll do cereals cos I'll just want something light...do most hotels do this or are they usually full blown buffets? We've stayed in the Ramada in the past and I know they did cereals, toasts, bagels etc and we want something similar...ideally not far from the hotel cos then we can just go straight off to Disney!

Hi Sam - welcome to the Dibb:D

Only breakfast buffet I have done at a Park was in AK, and I don't remember seeing cereals. But, Have been to several places outside the parks that do breakfast buffets - eg, Sizzler, Golden Coral - and there have always been cereals available, though I think they are all pretty much the sugar coated variety, and nothing just like plain cornflakes, for example. Most Buffet Breakfasts offer a really good selection of freah fruit, though, which is great if you don't fancy anything too heavy.

We find most days for quickness its best to have some cereal in the room before going out for the day. I always take a packet of cereal in the case, once used gives room for bringing extra stuff home as well :D :D
