Windsor Palms roadworks

Hi,
Hoping to stay at Windsor Palms again this year, Last 2 weeks of May.
But we are concerned at possible major roadworks in this area.
We plan to visit Universal more than Disney, so does anone know of similar condo accomodation nearer Universal or the likely impact of the roadworks in May?

We would rather stay at the Palms, but dread long delays when we have limited holiday time.

to by-pass the Roadworks at the intersection of I4 and 192, use the Sherberth Road short cut up to Animal Kingdom, and then go along the Osceola Parkway

Sherberth Road is directly opposite Entry Point Blvd (at Windsor Palms area)

We cannot find a detailed map with road names.
