Hi, you'll all be sick of these before I'm done, but here is my plan for Sunday 13th March at Animal Kingdom. One thing I forgot to say with my plan for Epcot was that, obviously we'll be keeping an eye on the queue times for the rides we're planning to FP - if they are quick enough, we'll just queue up instead.
Any comments or suggestions welcomed!
TIA!
Lesley
In advance, pack sandwiches, fruit, crisps and juice boxes to take for lunch.
Early buffet breakfast at Golden Corral (opens 7 AM - need to add directions - $5.99 each?????).
Hours: 9 AM to 6 PM. Aim to be here from 8:30 AM to after parade at 4, then either home for dinner and a relaxing evening OR head to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner (price?????).
Check time for Festival of the Lion King, and plan where to fit it in below.
Grab FPs for Dinosaur on way to Kilimanjaro Safari. Do Pangani Forest Trail directly afterwards. If time fits, do Dinosaur, otherwise do Tarzan Rocks (if showtimes are right) or the Boneyard.
Grab FP for Kali River Rapids (height 106 cm, but some rafts allow littler ones to ride with parents). Do Maharajah Jungle Trek and Flights of Wonder.
If time fits, back for Kali River Rapids, grabbing another FP for Tough to be a Bug on the way.
Look around the Tree of Life and /or the Oasis Tropical Garden, going back to Tough to be a Bug during or afterwards, depending on FP times.
Grab a FP for Primeval Whirl (height 122 cm so twins won’t be able to ride), then go do the Character Greeting Trails, returning for FP. If still too early, do Triceratop Spin, and, if missed earlier, Tarzan Rocks and / or the Boneyard (otherwise do these directly after).
Grab another FP for favourite ride, do Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
Watch Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade at 4 pm (right at the end of the parade where they enter Harambe - there are usually plenty of walls to sit on and you can grab coffee's and cakes (mmmm) from the little kiosk by the restaurant while you're waiting) and then do Pocahontas and her Forest Friends and final FP.
Head out of park, deciding whether we are hungry or not, and whether we have enough energy left to go out for tea, or whether we should make something or get a delivery at the villa. (need numbers for delivery?????)
Any comments or suggestions welcomed!
