Savannah view room at AKL

Just paid £48 per day for upgrade ( on insistance of kids) hope it's worth it.

Anyone else stayed there in these rooms & it it worth it?

We stayed in a savannah room and did think it was worth the extra money. We spent hours on the balcony looking at the animals.

Definately worth the extra money, its lovely to sit out on your balcony and watch the animals.

Oh it is so worth the extra money. No matter what time of the day or night I looked out on our balcony, there were animals below. These ranged from all sorts of birds to giraffe, gazelle, zebra and loads more I can't put my fnger on their names!

Inside your room you have a fact sheet with pirctures and descriptions to help you name all the animals.

It will be worth every penny. It would be a shame to stay at the AKL and over look the car park:confused: :confused: :confused:

Oh yes, totally worth the extra. We did 3 nights there last year mid-trip and it just broke my heart to leave!
Saving like a thing possessed to stay there next trip :D

Now you've got me thinking .....

Hoping to go back in Jan 06 and was looking at staying at CBR but might look at pushing the boat out for a few nights at AKL with SV.

This is turning into an expensive cheap trip !!
