Hi,

Here's our Day 6 plan. Any comments very welcome! A couple of questions also included.

This is for Tuesday 15th March,

Lesley

Go out for breakfast (Golden Corral again????? Any other strong recs?????)

Hours: 10 AM to 5 PM. Aim to be here for 09:30 AM and stay for 4-5 hours depending on how tired we are.

Hire lockers and towels. Grab a lounger or two as soon as we get there (near kiddie areas??) – no problem leaving non-valuables on loungers to “keep our places”).

No real sequence – but Downhill Double Dipper, Slusher Gusher., Summit Plummit are all too “big” for the twins.

OTOH, T-Bar, Tike’s Peak, Cross Country Creek are all too “small” for the big kids!

Teamboat Springs sounds like a good “family ride”.

WHAT ELSE DO WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT RIDE-WISE??

Eat lunch before leaving – foot long hot dogs split between the kids sounds good, plus BBQ pork sandwiches for adults (Warming Hut – roughly $20) plus refillable sports bottle for under $10.

Go home, rest up by the pool and have an early night!

GC is great for filling up cheaply, but sometimes it's nice to have a change - we used to vary it with Sizzler (pretty much the same, but less choice, although we all thought their crispy bacon was the BEST, and the fruit was of a better quality). Ponderosa's are similar, but in my view are not quite as good. (Of course, on our first trip we didn't know any better and went to Ponderosa's nearly all the time for brekkie - and loved them. It's what you get used to . . . )
Another recommendation has been IHOP's for brekkie.

The refillable mugs are great, much bigger than "just a mug" - we still use ours at home, well worth it
