Hi folks,
We are lucky enough to be going for 3 wks this year and are planning on getting the 21 day Disney ticket and SeaWorld tickets. We can't make up out minds about Universal/IOA. Is there enough there for younger children or is it mainly geared for older children/teenagers?
Any advice/thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Karen

How old are the children?
Our two were 5 and 8 last year and IOA/US was their favourite parks. Hence when we return this year, we will mainly go to these and minimum visits to Disney.
There is loads to do in IOA / US / Citywalk.

I have 2 girls of 2 1/2 and 11. My oldest girl has learning difficulties and probably won't go on the bigger rides. Did you think there was enough for your 5 year old?
thanks

definitely go - especially given you are there for 3 weeks - both parks are amazing, and there is plenty to amuse the little one

You must do these parks they really are brilliant!
I have a 5 year old and nearly 4 at the time when we went last month and the 5 year old went on everything that he was able to go on which was quite a lot in both parks. the youngest was more aprehensive though. cat in the hat area is great - as is jurassic park!

With Scooby Doo in Universal Studios.....................we couldn't get our 5 year old out of the park....
Only the promise of Spiderman moved him to IOA.
Remember not to miss Seaworld. This is a lovely park if the kids like animals, the interaction with the Dolphins at feeding time was one of our holiday highlights, something we just did not expect.

We had 14 day flexpasses and used them to 'pop in' when we had a spare couple of hours, great for late afternoons when the park is quieter. Go for it, both parks are amazing. And to confirm what we found on our first trio to orlando several years ago, we still rate Universal over disney any day (now, how can we get tower of terror, mission space and test track out of disney and into universal)?
DH-to-be and I LOVE the Universal Parks!!!
No children, but we're energetic enough for a whole bunch of 5 year olds when we're there!
Probably wouldn't take the littlest one on The Revenge of the Mummy or the Jurassic Park River Adventure.... May be a bit scary... but Suess Landing is fab, I loved it there and the character interaction with the Suessians is so great... The Grinch and Thing 1/Thing 2 are excellent... Thing 2 chased me after I stuck my tongue out at him... That'll teach me!
