I am planning to either see the Universal or the IOA night show. Can anyone give any advice?

I think they have firework displays at certain peak times of the year.

Strange as don't recall anything in 2001 or 2002 around June which I thought was one of the peak times?

Thanks for that. Shame they don't do anything like they did in the early 90's on the lagoon with speedboats and firworks etc.

oh okay. When I went in easter 2000 there was definitely a night time firework show at IOA. Was really good as well.

I've seen a fireworks show a couple of times in IoA, once in 1999 the year the park opened and then again in about 2001. Both times were during early August.
The fireworks were OK, but I didn't think they were anything special. They certainly weren't in the same league as Illuminations of Fantasmic as far as nighttime shows go.

Perhaps easter as well I know someone else posted this as well before on another board but due to the parks being close to house etc it seems they are not allowed the fredom enjoyed by disney I know the fireworks show at Universals park in Spain is pretty good although its not owned by universal now
