Has any body stayed at the Sheraton New York Hotel And Towers,we are going on the 1st October and i have read some very bad reports on www.tripadvisor.co.uk :( :(
I haven't stayed there but some of the reports on tripadvisior can be very damning. They are not usually as bad as they say.
The hotel I stayed in NY was condemned LOL but when I got there I thought it was fine. A few small issues but were sorted asap by the staff.
It will be fine. If not, have a word with the staff and they will sort it.
Have a great time in NY, you'll love it - we did!

Just looked at some of the reviews on tripadviser, they are pretty good for that hotel, I would only be worried if the vast majority of reviews were bad (you should see the reviews on the Carter Hotel (New York)

we love NY and visit very often. it is a shame you didn't enjoy it lesley, I suppose we are all different. try to do some slightly different things if you can, try the Village for unusual shopping and eating too. We stay in the Village at a B& B which we love more than the more traditional hotels, you get to meet real New Yorkers!

I've stayed there twice and didn't have any problems. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and it was about a minutes walk to the middle of TS. The rooms were not as big as the hotels in Orlando, but then the majority of rooms in NY are known to be small. They were also spotless.
Have a great time, NY is great.
We stayed there in 1991 - we weren't impressed. So bad that when we stayed at the Sheraton Falls View in Niagara, they upgraded us to a really smart room. It was having extensive outdoors work done and the rooms were very noisy, woken up very early with builders outside the windows and no explanation/apology given.
