Rainforest Cafe.

When we went to florida last year we decided to book a table at the rainforest cafe for our evening meal.
Having to wait for ages in the queue, by the time it came to our turn to be shown to our table i was not vey hungry.
DH ordered a steak but I just ordered a salad.
I think the word I am looking for is "gobsmacked". I sat there for ages just staring at it. I have never seen a salad so BIG.
No way could I eat it all. Took what was left home in a "box".
Could you manage all this?

My DD and I split a hamburger. The people next to us ordered a Volcano for dessert and shared it with us. Yes, it's that big.

we love rainforest cafe

we went to the one at animal kingdom for breakfast and the one at downtown disney for dinner.

they were both brill.

we had the volcano for dessert and there were 3 of us and we left some too.

its worth ordering - as the waiter shouts VOLCANO as he/she is bringing it out.

a really great place to eat.

the Rain Forest Cafe is FAB the food is so good and you get a lot for your money. I really want to go back with ds although I dont know if he will sit there, he likes to investigate everything.

It would be a nice place to take him for his 2nd birthday.

Why is it I love a salad in America but not here??!! That sweet honey mustard is out of this world. Ive bought every brand I can find in the shops here and they are too strong and not sweet enough. not the same!!!!!!!

Things I am most looking forward to eating:-
Salad with honey and mustard dressing
Tony Roma's ribs
Apple crumble from Tony Romas
Funnel cake

I'm going to weigh myself before I go and then again when I come back to see if I put much weight on! Call it an experiment!

I love the idea of taking it away with you because once you get back you can maybe enjoy it abit more, because the portions are so huge I can't eat it all and feel ill just looking at it.. like to eat it at a more comfortable pace, like taking three more hours to eat it! LOL! Wish we had this facility in the UK.. I do ask to take my meal home here now but they are not always prepared and don't have suitable carry home cartons. We still have alot to learn.
