Although I've never seen it myself I understand there is a custom car rally through Kissimee every week (Friday night?). I'm sure someone on this board will be able to confirm this.

Edit - I was writing this as the message above came through!

The vintage car rally every Saturday evening in Old Town Kissimmee is worth taking alook at, the cars park up and you can have a look round, then they all drive out in a convoy, we usually make an evening of it having dinner there, fairground rides, looking round the shops etc:)

What about the Richard Petty driving experience at Disneyworld itself. Looks like fun for all budding petrolheads.

Friday Nite Cruise is a smaller affair than the Saturday one.
Friday cruise is for cars built 1973 onwards, but the Saturday Cruise is for the real classics and muscle cars built up to 1972.

We have been to the shows at least 5 times. It does get busy but the atmosphere is great. www.old-town.com

There is also a good museum near to Daytona called Klassix auto Museum and they have the 60s Batman car,and the "Grease Lightning "car from the film Grease. Also cars from the Munsters [Dragula],Knight Rider[ Kitt],Flintstones and the Blues Brothers 2000 police car.

If its some short oval racing you want, take a look at the www.chasinracin.com site.

Hope this helps.
