phones at cypress pointe

Have just read the thread about phoning home and phone cards. As we're staying at cypress pointe I was just wondering if anyone knows if the phones there take incoming calls (direct dial) and if i can use a phone card to dial out from the apartment. We are leaving teenagers home (don't want to come this time - shock horror!!!) and i am a little paranoid about being able to ring them, and them me.

Not too sure about incoming direct dial calls but there is a phone just outside the resort gate: at the post office which we used for phoning home.

Hope your holiday works as planned. Our two teenagers 18 and 15 were not coming with us until last weekend, when they suddenly had a change of heart and decided maybe Gran keeping an eye on them was not such a good option as Florida. They are now booked in with us.

Hi, when our friends stayed there last year, we were able to phone them, the reception just put us through to their apartment. We asked for them by name or apartment number.

Yes to both your questions.

We stayed here last year and used a phone card to ring home from our room/apartment. Also received incoming calls no problems, like Paula said above they just ask for your room/apartment number.

thanks Tinkershell, just to clarify, does the phone card from the apartment phone give as many minutes from there as it would from a public phone, or is the rate per minute higher?
