Hi all,

We are booked for 26th June, 2 weeks 2005 and are 1st timers.

We fly into OMC @ 1415hrs so we have all but written day '1' off, except for finding Hotel, grabbing a shower, arguing with DD1 (7) & DD2 (9) and going out for some grub.

We are a party of four - me (DH), DW, DD1 and DD2 (the rebels).

Our plan (and it is a joint attempt 'cos DW told me so!!) goes something like this: -

Day 1 Sun Find Hotel/Evening Meal - cop some zzzzzz's
Day 2 Mon Universal Studios
Day 3 Tue Seaworld
Day 4 Wed Magic Kingdom
Day 5 Thu Epcot
Day 6 Fri Blizzard Beach
Day 7 Sat Animal Kingdom
Day 8 Sun Discovery Cove
Day 9 Mon Disney Studios
Day 10 Tue Island of Adventure
Day 11 Wed SHOPPING / Typhoon Lagoon
Day 12 Thu Free Day (Favourite park - 2nd visit)
Day 13 Fri Wet & Wild
Day 14 Sat Epcot (2nd visit)
Day 15 Sun Last Park AM / PM MCO Airport - Home

If anyone can cast a seasoned and critical eye over this 1st stab and offer any advice - it would be most appreciated and if nothing else, give me and DW something to scrap over !!

Hi welcome to the DIBB. Its quite a schedule you have there i would try to put the quieter parks like epcot before day 5 say switch seaworld and epcot round in your first week. It looks to me like you only have the odd quieter day intersperesed around several days of hectic before i would even put your second epcot up earlier too cos you will hit burn out before long if not.Your water parks are more leisurely days too so i would say something like-
day 2universal
3 epcot
4-m.k
5-b beach
6-seaworld and so on.
Hope this helps

Welcome to the Dibb!
I would suggest you do Seaworld on the first day as its an easier park to get you used to the whole idea gently. Don't even try to do it all on your first visit or you will be disappointed, just pick a few must-do attractions at each park and do them first then everything else is a bonus.
We arrive just after you on June 30th. Happy planning!

I agree with above, your first day you will be up early (jet lag/time difference) and tire early. Seaworld in my opinion would be a better first pick. You probably won't make the evening (brilliant) Shamu show though, so personally would plan to go back for that maybe after doing a waterpark morning or something (we never spend all day in a waterpark although I'm sure some do!)

I agree with loadsafairydust I suggest 'doing' Sea World on your 1st out and about. It's not so hectic gives you a chance to acclimatise if it's hot and has shows you can sit down and watch if the legs are getting a bit tired or the kids are getting 'emotional'
