Just a thought there is a Spectromagic Prade in the evenings at MK but only it seems on Sat, Sun, Mon its something you shouldn't miss, check here .WDW TIMES (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/calendar/dailyview/index?date=04/20/2005&id=MKCalendarDailyViewPage)

There is I am sure a car show parade at Old Town on a Saturday evening, if you like that sort of thing it is supposed to be good. We are planning to go on next years trip.

The last day....please do something. On our first trip the plane home wasn't until about 18:00. All we did was sit around the pool all day, it is a waste of a day. You will still have time for a half day at a park.

Are you an on site guest? I say this as you have EPCOT on Thursday which is EMH evening for on site guests. If off site then have a free day Thursday maybe shopping at Premium Outlets and Florida Mall and then go to EPCOT on Friday.

I think you're very brave to leave the Magic Kingdom until your 10th day, as I think it's the heart of Disney.

You should DEFINITELY see Spectromagic, if you possibly can, as it's a sight to behold and will be a lasting memory.

If you have a ticket that allows it, try splitting your Universal and IOA days between the two parks, as you can walk from one to another in about 10 minutes.

Try Downtown Disney for shopping and sights after Typhoon Lagoon, as you pass it, almost, on your way out!

Again, on Tuesday, after Animal Kingdom, why don't you relax for a while somewhere, then take another park in the evening/ night, as the Magic Kingdom is open much later?

Hello, and welcome to the Dibb!
I agree with the above, don't miss out on Downtown Disney, a great place for a meal and some shopping and DisneyQuest, a kind of virtual themepark. Also try and visit the parks after dark as they take on a completely different character when the sun goes down.
Animal Kingdom is a good first day park, you could also squeeze Seaworld in somewhere too.
Old Town has the car cruise on Friday and Saturday nights so it may be worth arranging your visit there to one of these nights if this interests you.
Sure you will have a fabulous time whatever you do!

Would def change Daytona Beach to one of the free days and go to Old Town for the Sat Nite Cruise.

IMHO unless you are going to Daytona for the racetrack and the Daytona USA exhibition, there is not a great deal to do unless there is a show on.
Personally I would go to the Gulf coast beaches,St Petes or Clearwater.Better weather and nicer beaches.

From all your posts and they are ALL useful going to have a play around with the Itinerary. Going with Mum, dad and 6yr old son staying in Virgin Villa which is at end of US192 so about 25 minutes from Disney, 50 mins from Orlando. Dad is heavily into Motorbikes but after I explained that from the tips on here there is probably not hoards about for him to drool over at Daytonna beach, going to stick just with the bike show on the Thursday in Old Town. Have already purchased tickets 14 day hopper for disney and 3 day 2 park orlando ticket. These where all booked over ayear ago. How I wish i had found this site first. Think I ended up with some of my days falling on the EMH as "the unofficial guide said these are the days with the lightest crowds. Armed now with all your tips I'm going to have another go.
Have also purchased Simon Veness planner, so I'm sure I'll be on plan z by the time we go. I just want to try and fit as much in without burning out, however DM thinks I planning a military operation!!!!

Thanks again to all...
