Would appreciate anyones thoughts on this. We - myself, my wife and our 16, 14, and 6 year old boys - go Saturday April 9th landing at around 6pm, staying in Kissimmee. We need to shop on the first full day as we aren't buying any holiday clothes before we go!

Sat - A meal out followed by bedtime probably
Sun - Welcome meet/Walmart/Belz/Typhoon Lagoon
Mon - Magic Kingdom
Tue - Universal Studios
Wed - Universal Islands of Adventure
Thu - Shopping/Downtown Disney
Fri - Epcot (will it be very busy being the first day of the Flower Festival?)
Sat - Animal Kingdom
Sun - MGM Studios
Mon - Universal and UIA again (last chance before tickets expire)
Tue - Trip to Clearwater incl o/night stay courtesy of Holiday Inn reward points
Wed - Return from Clearwater/Magic Kingdom again (late afternoon/evening)
Thu - Epcot Center again/Blizzard Beach
Fri - Sea World
Sat - Last chance for a half day at a Disney park or shopping (hopefully not the latter)

The water parks are busier at the weekends and it could be easier to visit BB in th morning then go to Epcot.

Water parks are busy at weekends. I would also try and visit the water parks in the morning then go to one of the main parks later in day/evening.

Looks like a good plan though:wink :wink :wink

I would personally change the last Thurs and Fri to -

Thu - Seaworld
Fri - Blizzard Beach, Epcot Center again Illuminations

Reasons are the waterparks get busier as the day goes on and if a hot sunny day may be either closed or have no loungers left. Also EPCOT Illuminations must be seen and Friday is a non EMH evening so should be quieter.

As you sat the first day of the Flower Festival may be busy so would swap to like this -

Thu - EPCOT leave by mid afternoon evening at leisure
Fri - Shopping/Downtown Disney

By leaving mid afternoon should miss the evening crowds for EMH.

Oh and noticed you have AK and MGM on the EMH days so would swap like this -

Sat - MGM for Fantasmic
Sun - Animal Kingdom

Hope this helps :)

Oh and do you need to go to the welcome meet? Alot of the time they are just a sales pitch and if familiar with WDW a bit of a waste of time to be honest, cutting into valuable holiday time. Not sure about TL on a Sunday afternoon could be busy with locals.

Looking good Steve :D :) I am sure you will have a fantastic time.
Oh and for other good shopping try Premiuim Outlets (http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=17) a 5 minute drive from DTD.

Looking good. I'd swap your first two days as I can't wait to get to MK! Admire your restraint :)

My wife and older lads need to get the desire to do some cheap shopping out of their system early on.

Me and the littl'un wouldn't go inside a shop for the fortnight if it was up to us.
