Okay after a couple of months of planning , in a totally non expert way. I thought i would throw caution to the wind to see if seasoned disney travellers can help/ assist/ reassure that i am heading in the right direction :D

Travelling from Birmingham to Sanford on September 2nd 2005
Staying in private house. Car hire booked with myself and DF as drivers.
With : Me . DS1 (15) DS2 (10) DS3 (6) DM (5?) DF (5?) Aunt (5?)
and Grandfather (80) ( promised parents would not reveal their ages hehe)
Tickets : non bought yet but looking to buy from Best4attractions their 7 day premium (disney) and 2 park /2 day (universal)

Friday 2nd - arrive Sanford at 13.45. Shop on way to house.( More than likely at Walmart) Pool. relax and early to bed.

Saturday 3rd- Up with the larks. Book PS for Breakfastosaurus. Animal Kingdom. ( Yes this is an early entry day for guests but figured it would be an ideal day as bodys may still be on UK time and it closes at about 6pm) Stop on way home to eat. Relax in pool and so to bed.

Sunday 4th - Nothing planned for this day. Any ideas ?Maybe just for myself and DS X3.

Monday 5th - Epcot. Yes another park open early for guests day but today is Labour Day. So parks may be busy? If it is then at least we can have a stroll around World Showcase. Maybe fastpass a few rides along the way. Book PS for Ice Cream Social .

Tuesday 6th - Typhoon Lagoon ,nice restful day after i have dragged 'the olds' around epcot . Off to Disney Quest late afternoon. Remembering to go to Earl of Sandwich ( that i have read so much about).

Wednesday 7th - Universal as crowds are light. Spend a full day and eat when are where we can.Maybe go to Cit Walk NBA cafe sons ar basketball crazy.

Thursday 8th - DAunts birthday - PS Chef Mickeys, we did this last time and found the party atmosphere great. Off to Magic Kingdom after breakfast. Spend day there and hopefully Wishes will be on ?

Friday 9th - Book to go to Discovery Cove today. Nice relaxing day. Remember to ring DH is his birthday and couldnt come because of work !!.Stay clear of universal as its their Rock the Universe and Magic Kingdom has Night of Joy , so will close early ?

Saturday 10th - Kennedy Space Centre. With shopping thrown in . Magic Kingdom has Night of Joy and Universal still ha Rock the Universe So figured it better to stay away from these 2.

Sunday 11th - MGM .Park open late for guests. Book PS fot Fantasmic at Hollywood and Vine. Idea for today . Get there early and do all the rides especially TOT as many times as i can. Relax in the afternoon as park gets busier ?

Monday 12th - Island of Adventure. Evening Race Rock or Jonny Rockets.

Tuesday 13th - Seaworld. Light crowd day and admission included in Discovery Cove

Wednesday 14th - Nothing planned for today

Thursday 15th - Try to PS Pirates Adventure for 2 youngest DS.Nothing planned for today

Friday 16th - Leave Sanford at 15.30 pm and cry all the way home on the plane

So much to see and do there. So little time. Of course we will be eating every day (lol) but wanted to get my PS in there so that you could see and restaurants that we must go to
I fancy going on a night time airboat thing too, But not sure with all the mosquitoes ( They tend to see me and think lunch).
We have another 6 days of Seaworld available should we choose to use it AND 3 days of Disney entry oooh and a free planet hollywood meal..

Help please :D

Looks good to me! AK is a great first day park. We did Breakfastosaurus on our first day last trip and it really got us into the Disney mood. I'm sure you will have a fab time!

Great idea Claire_L migh suggest that to DM.DF. Aunt and grandad
Think i might tag along on both days . More time for TOT :D

Think me and my DS want to be fairly active every day and want to make best use of our Disney passes. It has been 7 years since we went last ! Although thinking about booking for October 06 already hehe.

Way i see things is ..Shopping can wait for on my way back from parks. Or i can buy it on the net

loadsafairydust Thought it would be a nice easy start to the holiday with the added excitement of the breakfast and characters. Glad you have done it that way and agree

I agree with Claire - completes what I see as a good balanced schedule.

It is hard - so much to fit in - but remember it is a holiday too. You have a good mix of excitement and relaxing.

Labor Day - EPCOT is big enough to hold it, best Park to be at if it is busy.

Continue to enjoy the planning!

Can anyone help myself and my husband sort out an itinerary please!

We are flying out from Gatwick on the 15th of September on the 12pm flight.

Staying for 14 days, have 14 days disney pass, and orlando flex ticket. Covers all apart from Busch Gardens.

We Definetly want to go to Sea World, Animal Kingdom and Kennedy Space Centre. Its our first time in Orlando, so we want to see as much as possible.

Yours gratefully

Lesley

Hi lesley
Have a look at the posted itineraries to give you an idea. Also look @ the menus to see if there's anywhere you would like to book for http://www.allearsnet.com/din/dining.htm. I would book a fantasmic Dinner Package for the Brown Derby (MGM) also consider a Character Meal @ Crystal Palace maybe.
Must see Wishes, Illuminations & Fantasmic.
Also do you plan on any shopping?
Once you've an idea Post it again for more tips
