Hi mollysmum,
We stayed at the Radisson Worldgate last year.
This hotel used to be called The Rennaissance Worldgate, it is a very nice hotel.
It's not a luxury hotel ,but it is very nice and clean, the rooms are quite big, there is a telly and a fridge hidden away in a unit, and a cofee maker in the room, although the bathroom is quite small, there is a nice oval bath, what the americans call a garden tub.
There are 2 swimming pools, the main one also has a jaquzzi, which was very hot.
There is a gift shop, fast food court and a restaraunt, and there is also a room which you can use the internet free of charge, you have to use your room key to get in.
The staff were friendly, and as i said the hotel was very clean, we would definately stay there again, and its very close to disney.
Hope that helps you a bit

Thank you so very much for that, its very reassuring to know someone has stayed there and can genuinely say it is a nice place to stay.
Would you be able to tell me do they provide a shuttle bus to Disney etc. frequently throughout the day?
Would you say the food is reasonably priced?
I got the impression it is a lovely hotel but it seems slightly corporate so wondered if it catered as well for holiday makers whio intend to go to Disney parks etc. on a daily basis.
I apologise for all the questions but like I said before I really appreciate your help and any advice you may have.

Hi Mollysmum,
There was a shuttle bus to the Disney parks, but as we hired a car, we did'nt use it, so have no idea of the times that it was running sorry.
There was a car hire company in the main reception, and on the desk there was leaflets about disney, and i'm sure there was one with the times of the shuttlebus, but did'nt pick one up as we did'nt need it.
We only ate at the hotel once, and that was for breakfast, what we had was nice, but it was a bit pricier that the restaraunts outside, and not so much choice.
Its an ideal hotel for holiday makers, as it is so close to disney, one of the blocks overlooks towards Animal Kingdom, you can see the Tree of Life in the distance.
They do hold conventions there, on our last couple of days there, there was a tree hugging convention going on,(each to thier own i say lol), but it did'nt bother us, not in the hotel long enough, there was quite a few british people staying there when we were there last october.
As i said in my last post, we loved this hotel, it was clean, and the staff were very friendly, we have'nt stayed at the La Quinta, but we had a look around outside it, and me personally i would prefer the Raddisson.
Hope that helps a bit
HELEN
