We ar staying at the QIP I-DRIVE next year, they have a breakfast buffet I think anyone tried it, is it any good, or should we go to a Sizzlers etc.
We stayed at the QIP in Sept last year. We had 2 free breakfast vouchers with Virgin and only used one, that should tell you something.:(
Food quality wasn't great, but haven't tried Sizzler next door either. Only Ponderosa and Golden Corall, both of those were great.

We used to use shoneys a lot they were good !!!!!
I stayed in QII, QIP's sister hotel and we thought the breakfasts were good. There is usually sausages, bacon, eggs, waffles, pancakes, cereals, fruit, porridge and more. This is definitely one where there are varying opinions ! If you are flying with Virgin you will get free vouchers. I think that if you have children under 11 they eat free (1 per adult or a maximum of 3 per 2 adults) For us it worked out very cheap and the tip is included in the price.

We stayed at qip twice never had breakfast there after having to change room at 5am in the morning and walked past the resturant and they were puting food out in their hot trays 2hrs before it opened? go to sizzlers or pondarosea just passed race rock, better chioce better food.

we used sizzlers quite alot good service and food was ok
never used QIP for food found the burgers from the bar where very nice and so was the
we went last year to QIP and ate in sizzlers - ok at first but novelty wore off after a few days. Good shop on site where you can buy cereal, toast, milk, etc which we did for a few days for a change

We stayed at the QIP a few years ago and only had breakfast there once - never again! Not much choice and everything was very greasy :(
Much better (and cheaper) to walk up to the Ponderosa, or nip down to the Sizzler for breakfast :)

Hi
Just got back and we did eat there twice (free with virgin)...it's Ok but not as good as Golden Corral. The kids enjoyed the mini burgers and sausages and the scrambled egg with peppers in was really nice.
Hope this helps...

I agree with Raymond, the sizzlers next door is very poor. QIP is OK if you want a quick start to the day, if not, there are plenty of places advertising breakfasts. Beware though, all you can eat for $??? is OK, but they sting you for the accompanying drinks..

They do, but all are obliged to serve you with free water if thats all you want (I hate fizzy drinks and dont drink much tea/coffee)
