Star Wars Weekend at MGM

Hi, First post !

I went to this 2 years ago and although not an autograph collecter was wondering does anyone know who will be attending the event this year, as it might make a big difference to the amount of people there.

We arrive Sat 11th June so will be up early and get there for last day with a bit of luck, and try and nick a stormtrooper uniform lol

Also if any of you guys have been on a S\W weekend.. How do you get you DS to be part of the Jedi Training Academy??

At the entrance of star tours you see the AT-AT, to the left of it is the stage, when asked who wants to be a Jedi make sure your DS is at the front and jumps n shouts for all he's worth you never know, WHEN he's picked he gets dressed as a jedi , gets some training, and gets to fight either Darth Vader or Darth Maul, all kids get a figure and a certificate.

WOW what a day!!!

What time of day does this stuff kick off?

I would really make our DS holiday if we could get him picked!!

Not sure what time it starts, there's a couple of shows per day i have a couple of contacts in the 501st Florida garrison that takes part in the parade i'll make a couple of calls a post the result here

As for the ceramic mugs last year i bought Darth Vader+Maul
Storm Trooper and Clone Trooper from the Star Traders Shop at MGM Star Tours
