Hello Out there ,
Can anybody tell me if the carousel of progress ride is still operating in the MK Orlando, we were dismayed last year to find that the ride in MK disneyland California had been turned into a revolving games show with a central array of arcade type games.
I allways believed that this ride captured the Disney spirit by showing Walt's love for the family unit enjoying themselves together through different moments in history and also through the celebrations that make up the american social calender.
Maybe I am just an old sentimentalist at heart but I would be saddened if MK DW has gone the same way.

We went on it in February (twice!). My DD (7) loves it and that is all she has talked about since we came home LOL.

Is it seasonal? I know last sept it was closed, but assumed it was for refurb......Hope it going in Sept....had a laugh on that with a castmember..

once we got in our seats th CM came on the mic and did the speak of flash photography, yada yada.....then went on to say right if you would like to reach down to your left hand side and pull the lap belt accross.....well....everyone did it...even me:blush:

We really like it as well. It's a great chance to sit down for 20 minutes in the aircon ;)

Oooooohhh I just love disagreeing with my fellow dibbers on these things:D
I love WDW and most of everything there, but I HATE this ride. It is cheap looking, nauseatingly sentimental and takes liberties with jumping forwards in (IMHO) disjointed chunks. I'm sure they could do it better if they really tried.
